CHILDREN'S FORMATION

Our children are formed as Christians both in our Church Services and in Sunday School.

Sunday School is available during the first part of the service.  Children start in church with their parents then go downstairs to Sunday School.  They return at the Peace to join us in celebrating the Holy Communion together.

ADULT FORMATION

Adult formation takes place in many ways - through worship together, through study before Sunday services and on Wednesday evenings, and through service to others.

Sunday mornings at 8:30 am weekly and (on the first Sunday of the month) at 11:15 am, we study scripture together - what did this passage mean to the people of the time it was written and what does it mean to us today.  Scripture is alive and enfolding in our daily lives and can teach us so much about how we are to live in the world as Christians.  We may also do special studies for a period of time.

Wednesday evenings during Lent (and other times) we gather for Eucharist at 6:00 pm, followed by a meal together.  At 7:00 pm, we begin our Adult Formation time.  Our studies are as varied as we are - scripture; movies and shows that we then reflect on theologically; books which are inspirational, thought-provoking, and give practical guidance; saints and others who have much to teach us about how we live in the world; the history and teachings of the Episcopal Church; and so much more.

Join us as we gain a deeper knowledge of God - and ourselves!
