There are many ways to serve at Church of the Resurrection - both within the church and within the community. Learn more about how we serve those in need.
Church of Resurrection Essentials
(Hospitality and Mission)
Church of Resurrection Essentials (CORE) is responsible for things such as planning events and providing hospitality for the congregation as well as seeking out missions within the community.
Christian Education
Altar Support
Christian Formation and Education is available for all ages - from age 3 to age 103! Sunday School for ages 3 through junior high takes place during the first part of the service, with the children returning for holy communion. Adult education takes place at 8:30 am on Sunday as well as Wednesday evenings. All are invited to join us as we form disciples of Christ.
There are many opportunities for adults and children to participate in our worship services: Acolytes, Lectors, Eucharistic ministers, Altar guild, musicians. Learn more about we do to help celebrate Christ with us.

Buildings and Grounds
Our buildings and grounds committee helps take care of our 4 acres of property as well the physical needs of the church building.
Columbarium and Cemetery
We have a small, private cemetery and columbarium available for our parishioners. The committee overseeing the columbarium and cemetery set the policies and fees and help oversee burials.
Nursery
Although we are thrilled to be surrounded by children, we know that they can be disturbing to parents. Thus, a nursery for young children is available if desired.
Endowment
Greeters
When anyone enters our Parish, we want them to be met with a pleasant smiling face that can answer any questions about our services and our church.
Mission and Outreach
We are blessed to have a group oversee our endowment investments.
Mission and Outreach at Resurrection are a biblical responsibility which we address through a hands-on approach. From our Sunday Greeters who welcome everyone into the church for the service to fellowship hour after the service and continuing out into our community as we go to "love and serve the Lord."
